General Information

Your pet's condition requires that radiographs (x-rays) be made for diagnostic examination. Proper preparation helps ensure the safety and efficiency of the procedure.

Your pet may need a sedative, tranquilizer or general anesthetic so that high-quality radiographs (x-rays) can be made. Laboratory tests may be needed to assess whether your pet should be given such drugs.

Withold food and water for 8 hours before your appointment
Allow your pet enough time for a bowel movement & urination just before your appointment.
